Dr. Avinash M. Kadam
(Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay)

Dr. Avinash M. Kadam has a varied background from the various disciplines of science and technology. He holds Masters in Environmental Science from Mumbai University with meritorious credentials. He did M. Tech course work in Environmental Science & Engg from IIT Bombay and then obtained his Ph.D. in the field of wastewater treatment from Chemical Engg Dept., IIT Bombay. Dr. Avinash has number of research papers in the reputed journals in the field of Environmental Engineering. His area of expertise is in the wastewater treatment & recycling – domestic & Industrial. He also works in the water treatment for special contaminants removal.

Mr. Kiran Kotian
(BE Chemical Engineering, Mumbai University)

Mr. Kiran Kotian has done his BE in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University. He has 11 years of experience in the field of water and wastewater treatment. His expertise includes various kinds of filtration systems for drinking water treatment such as softeners, De-Mineralization plants, reverse osmosis, ultra filtration systems etc. Mr. Kiran has also extensively worked for designing & execution of Membrane Bio-reactor and extended aeration systems for wastewater treatment. In Sugam he is in charge of projects execution.

Mr. Sanjay Kamble
(BE Mechanical Engineering, Mumbai University)

Mr. Sanjay Kamble is Mechanical Engineer from Mumbai University. He has worked in the industry since last 10 years as production engineer. He has also hands on experience with engineering design & consultancy. He is a man of team work. In Sugam, he handles the engineering design, in-house R&D and mechanical aspects of execution.

Mr. Amit Gopal Chauhan
(M.Sc. Environmental Assessment and Evaluation, LSE)

"Amit is an environmentalist & an entrepreneur by Karma. He took education in Environmental Science (B.Sc. Mumbai University), Environmental Management (M.Sc. Shivaji University) & Environmental Economics (M.Sc. form London School of Economics & Political Science) soon after which he founded Sugam Paryavaran Vikalp with a vision to provide sustainable solutions to environmental problems resultant from high industrial and urban growth in India. He worked with NEERI as a research associate and then with a MNC in the field of Carbon Credits and Environmental Finance for some time before commencing business through Sugam.

He is a member of Indian Society for Ecological Economics. He has evaluated The Green Rating Project of the Indian industries conducted by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi. His life mission is greening of businesses through technological, managerial & policy innovations in India."
